Saturday, Jerrod was invited to be the Honorary Team Captain at the Desperados Game. The coach took Jerrod and Jerry into the locker room before the game to visit with the players, and Jerrod was asked to lead the team prayer. In addition, Jerrod got to go out and do the coin toss at the opening of the game. They announced a welcome to Jerrod and introduced him as a cancer survivor.
