Subject: Update
Jerrod went to the ENT this morning and they said he does not have
any permanent hearing loss. Which makes Dr. Moore believe the roar
in his ears will be temporary. He said that if there had been high
frequency hearing loss that may have indicated permanent damage.
Great news!
The nurse told us we would be discharged from Medical Center Plano
tomorrow (Tuesday) morning. We had no further rehab scheduled for
today so Jerrod went to the nurses station and asked could be
discharged this afternoon, They contacted the Doctor, and he agreed.
So, we are busy packing up the room and getting ready to take Jerrod
over to the apartment. Jerrod is so excited to get out of the
hospital! We have an appointment with the neurosurgeon tomorrow
morning. He will examine him again and give us the results of the
last CT scan. We have a list of questions including how much longer
he wants us to stay in Plano. (We anticipate being able to travel
early next week.) So many prayers have been answered and it now
seems that we are only about a week away from going HOME!
Current Prayer List:
Jerrod again wants to be sure that the number one prayer is
thankfulness.
That the CT Scan will show continued improvement.
That we will be cleared to travel home within a week.
We will continue to pray for his ears, sight and speech. (I do
believe it is all continuing to improve)
Pray for our safety in our local travel - and our travel back to
Lubbock.
And I pray for the Lord's richest blessings on each one of you.
We love you all and are eager to see you soon!
