Update from 10/19/07 7:00pm Below is an excerpt (Readers Digest version) from Jerry's e-mail today - to read the entire e-mail, click here. "(Dr. Morgan) will most likely put in the permanent shunt on Monday . . . we are not moving to the Physical Therapy Unit yet . . . IF that plan does not change, we will probably move to the therapy unit on Tuesday . . . So, please pray for Dr. Morgan again for the procedure. Also continue to pray that the tumor is benign - no, we still don't know . . . Jerrod's speech is better today and his balance is better today as well. So, everything continues to be encouraging... just constantly changing. We asked Dr. Morgan again about the loud noise in his ears and he really does not have an answer. He did say he would have an ENT doctor come and take a look at him . . . Again I can only tell you how much we appreciate you and your continued prayers. We are all doing fine and are in good spirits." The picture this evening is of Columbia Acadamy in Columbia, Tennessee. That's where Jerrod's cousins (Alex & Connor) attend. Carla's sister (Jana) also works at the Acadamy - you can see her in the center wearing a Team Jerrod shirt. Update from 10/19/07 6:00pm The Physical Therapist said Jerrod had a 50% improvement today over yesterday! We will update this evening with more news, once we know if Jerrod will be moved to a new room and the Dr. has arrived with an update. We may receive the results from the tumor today - we continue to ask you to pray the tumor is benign! By the way, don't forget the Prayer Pager - when you pray, call 806-721-2965 - it is so encouraging to the family for them to know people are praying. Update from 10/19/07 9:15am Below is a text I received from Carl to everyone this morning: "If there is a room in the rehab facility, j (Jerrod) will move today. If not, he will stay on the 6th floor waiting for his room. His attitude is great. He walked alot yesterday. Many thanks 4 all the prayers. We feel God's presence and your love." We may receive the results from the tumor today - we continue to ask you to pray the tumor is benign! By the way, don't forget the Prayer Pager - when you pray, call 806-721-2965 - it is so encouraging to the family for them to know people are praying. We have added a video of Jerrod in Therapy below - you can also get to it by clicking here.
