Subject: Jerrod Update

It has been a long time since I have sent an update and I thought today would be a good time to do that because today was Jerrod's 6th month check up.

Let me start with some basics, Jerrod did enroll in school this semester and he is enjoying his classes. He is only taking 12 hours so he won't be overwhelmed. That has been a great decision. But he will finish the semester with 15 because he is taking a trip to New York in May with a business class that he will get 3 hours for. Not a bad way to get 3 hours. (Sorry, that sounded like a Christmas letter... bottom line: he is back in school)
He was released to drive in February and his double vision is getting better all the time. There is still a bit of double vision when he is tired, but still getting better. The noise in his ears has stopped too.

His last two MRIs showed a spot where the tumor was and we have been watching that. Dr. Morgan said it may be some scar tissue. He also said, "we don't usually see scar tissue in there - but then - we don't usually do what we did in there."

We met with Dr. Morgan this morning to hear the results of his 6 month MRI - there has been no change in the MRI. That is actually good news because if it was tumor it would probably have already grown some. We go back for another MRI in August and we hope to see it shrinking... that would even be better. If it ever does grow the next treatment would be radiation, but we are just believing that will not happen.

Thank you so much for your prayers, and please continue to pray that the tumor never grows again.

Let me know if you have any questions, I would be happy to answer any that I can.
