Jerrod's favorite bible verse

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

In early October, Jerrod Shelton was diagnosed with a brain tumor.  On Oct. 11th, Jerrod had brain surgery at the Plano Medical Center.  Today, 6 months later, Jerrod is back in school at LCU and recovering remarkably well.  Thanks to everyone for your support, prayers, and love!

Jerrod is an exceptional young man.  He is a 2007 graduate from Lubbock Christian High School where he was Student Body President, and is currently a Freshman at Lubbock Christian University.  Jerrod is a strong leader, but most importantly, a man of God - having a deep faith and a sincere heart; Jerrod loves the unlovable, cherishes the outcast, brings light in darkness, and holds strong to his faith and beliefs even in the mist of ridicule and pain . . . he is a teacher to us all.
